Another busy day! 28/02/22
Today was another pretty busy day. Maybe I'm just trying to find excuses to use the trams, but I had an appointment with the Foreign Police to get temporary residency. This was actually my second time going there, as my bank statement wasn't quite what they wanted the first time. This time, however, all the paperwork was in order, and I spent the best part of 2 hours waiting to get my photo and fingerprints taken. Now all I need to do is get a health check, and I will get my card! It'll be a real relief when I've got this sorted. It really was a stressful few hours, as the police officers didn't speak much English, and I don't speak much Slovak!
Later on I will write a post about the whole procedure, as I would have really appreciated a step-by-step guide on how to get the temporary residency!
Because the waiting took so long, I missed all of my Food Hygiene practical (it's online, and I had told the teacher I wouldn't be there. It's still annoying though because I can only miss 1 practical without compensating my absence with seminar work). I hopped on tram direct to campus, and got to my second (first in-person!) lesson about 10 minutes late.
This lesson was very interesting - we were looking at slides, and had to draw them. I found this very difficult as I'm not particularly practiced, but I don't think my drawings came out too bad. Some of the slides were very difficult to decipher though. I will have to make some flashcards from the pictures I took so I can really understand the pathological changes happening.

We finished pathanat a little early, so my housemate and I went to the shops to get some snacks, and came home our our Breeding and Diseases of Game lecture. This subject is pretty interesting, but it's a bit of an information overload at the moment! The teacher is really great though and very heavily hints at what's going to be included in our tests.
I'm very tired from the stress of this morning, but I have a lot of work to do this evening. Tomorrow and Wednesday are online lecture days, so at least I won't have to leave the house again for a little while, and I can catch up on what I've missed.
